1. Scope

These terms apply to any individual who uses a GleamConnect-powered patient app, user website, booking portal, intake form, profile area, communication channel, or other consumer-facing interface.

By creating an account, making a booking, completing an intake form, storing information, or otherwise using a GleamConnect-powered interface, you agree to these terms.

2. Platform role

GleamConnect provides software infrastructure used by independent clinics and treatment providers. GleamConnect is not your treating provider and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, nursing, cosmetic, aesthetic, dental, medical, or other professional healthcare services.

Any appointment, booking, treatment, consultation, package, or product purchase you make through a GleamConnect-powered interface is made with the relevant clinic or provider, not with GleamConnect, unless GleamConnect expressly states otherwise in a separate written agreement.

3. Clinic relationship

The relevant clinic is responsible for:

  • its professional services and treatment decisions;
  • appointment availability and changes;
  • treatment suitability and contraindications;
  • consent, aftercare, and outcomes;
  • the accuracy of clinic descriptions, services, staff biographies, treatment information, pricing, and availability;
  • payment handling for patient-facing treatment charges unless a separate GleamConnect payment service is expressly identified.

GleamConnect does not guarantee that any clinic is suitable for your needs, licensed for a particular service, or free from complaint history.

4. Your obligations

You agree to:

  • provide accurate information;
  • provide lawful and truthful intake details, allergy details, and contraindication information;
  • keep your login credentials secure;
  • use the services only for lawful personal purposes;
  • not interfere with security, availability, or other users’ access.

You must not use the services to upload unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content.

5. Medical and treatment disclaimer

Information made available through the services, including clinic descriptions, automated reminders, chat replies, summaries, FAQs, educational prompts, or AI-assisted outputs, is provided for general informational and administrative purposes only.

Nothing in the services constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendation, emergency instruction, or a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. If you have urgent or emergency concerns, seek appropriate professional help immediately.

6. Bookings, cancellations, and no-show rules

Bookings are subject to the relevant clinic’s availability, booking rules, cancellation rules, and treatment-specific conditions. GleamConnect may display booking status and reminders, but the clinic controls appointment acceptance, rescheduling, cancellation, treatment eligibility, and attendance policies.

Any deposit, no-show, late-cancellation, treatment package, or refund rule is set by the clinic unless explicitly stated otherwise.

7. Payments

Where the interface presents payment or saved-card features, those features may be provided through third-party processors, including Stripe, or through the clinic’s own payment setup.

Unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout, patient-facing treatment charges are charged by or for the clinic, and refund or chargeback decisions remain the clinic’s responsibility.

8. Communications

GleamConnect and clinics may send service messages relating to bookings, account access, reminders, security, treatment administration, and support. Marketing communications require any consent required by law and can be managed using available preference controls.

SMS, email, push notification, and in-app message delivery is not guaranteed.

9. Data, privacy, deletion, and archive

GleamConnect and clinics handle personal data in accordance with the privacy policy and applicable law.

If you request deletion of your account or information, some records may be removed from active use but retained in a restricted archive where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

Archived data is not used for ordinary operational purposes and is subject to strict access controls.

10. Intellectual property

The platform, underlying software, workflows, interface design, and related content supplied by GleamConnect are protected by intellectual property law and remain owned by GleamConnect or its licensors. Clinics retain rights in their branding and clinic-supplied content. You may use the interface only as permitted by these terms.

11. Suspension and termination

GleamConnect or the clinic may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful activity, abuse, platform integrity, or breach of these terms.

You may stop using the services at any time. Closing an account does not automatically erase records that must be retained under law or under the retention and archive policy.

12. Warranty disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that the services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every device or use case.

13. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to that:

  • GleamConnect is not liable for clinic treatment decisions, care quality, or treatment outcomes;
  • GleamConnect is not liable for cancellations, clinic availability issues, or disputes between you and the clinic;
  • GleamConnect is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Where permitted by law, GleamConnect’s liability to you for claims arising from your use of the services shall be limited to the greater of:

  • EUR 100; or
  • the amount of platform fees, if any, directly paid by you to GleamConnect in the 12 months before the claim.

This limitation does not apply to rights you may have under non-excludable consumer law.

14. Consumer law

Nothing in these terms is intended to restrict any non-excludable rights available to consumers under applicable law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 where applicable.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The Irish courts shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights or forum rights that cannot be restricted by law.
